I'm in the middle of a mass cleaning of my room. My roommate, Jenna, is in bed napping because she's not feeling well and I have time to kill before the football game (35 mins to go, against UCLA). So far it's been very productive:
Step 1: separate dirty from clean clothes in my closet while at the same time organize the closet
Step 2: Laundry!
Step 3: Move all the big furniture out of the room, into the hallway. Comfy chairs, desk chairs, trashcans, recycling bin, mini tables, the works.
Step 4: Anything on the floor toss into the middle of the carpet in a giant heap.
Step 5: While tossing pull and put away anything that is Leslie's. (I am proud to say of all the crud living on our floor under and around everything only about 10% of it was mine. See, the ranch DID teach me something
Step 6: SWEEP!
Step 7: Sweep again
Step 8: Sweep once more just for good measure.
Step 9: Dust everything and anything that collects dust.
Step 10: Sit down to organize desk
Step 11: Get Jenna to come organize the now giant pile of stuff in the middle of the floor.
Step 12: Vacuum!
Step 13: Watch football
