I'm spending my Friday evening jamming to Carole King as I write a paper on the Olympic Visa commercials and how they are ridiculous. Dan Jansen did NOT use his Visa card to "go" to the Olympics. Amelia is with me writing a poli sci paper. Her mother did NOT listen to Carole King while she was growing up. This makes me sad because Carole was such a major part of my childhood. Many a memory has Carole playing in the background, especially memories with my Mother.

I am proud to have left you with the legacy of Carole King -- certainly a major soundtrack of my childhood. I think Heidi and I got into her because of Heidi's older sister (we ourselves were kind of too young for Carole; she was at her height during Janelle Hollingsworth's high school days, but we inherited her music.)
